Wow, I didn't realize that it has been so long that I have added anything. Madelyn is walking now and has been for a little while now, she is really funny because she is so little so it looks like she is too small still to be walking. She is 15 months now and still just about 20 lbs and I love it because she can be a real suck sometimes and only want to be in my arms. Hope everyone enjoys the updates and the video of Madelyn's first few times taking steps.

Hey Everyone,

So Madelyn is still not walking quite yet, but she is getting closer and closer everyday. She is starting to stand on her own now as long as she doesn't realize she is standing on her own she will do it. Once she realizes she isn't holding on to anything she drops to her bum. Madelyn's friend Hailey comes over three days a week and she is walking so I am hoping the more she watches Hailey the further she will get. The picture is of Hailey and Madelyn in the wagon going for a walk to the park.

We recently went to the Jacobs cottage in Delta, we were there for 4 nights in order that we could paint the outside of the cottage. We had really crappy weather but we were still able to get some good pictures of swimming. Madelyn didn't really enjoy the water that much, but she enjoyed watching mommy and uncle jo make fools of ourselves.

So as promised here are some pictures from Madelyn's 1st birthday. We had a wonderful day, although we missed all the friends and family that live too far away to have made it in person.

We got Madelyn her own little seat for the bike and her little tiny helmet. Madelyn really enjoys going for a bike ride as long as it's is not too windy out. We were lucky to find a helmet that fit her since she has such an itty bitty head.

So I am not much of a blogger and, in fact, am at a loss of words to describe anything about myself. So I will quickly say that the purpose of this blog is to allow friends and family that are living afar to join me in watching my daughter, Madelyn, grow up. I hope you enjoy all the wonderful pictures and updates about what is new and exciting in her world.
